O objetivo foi abrir um debate, dentro da Universidade, sobre assuntos que n\u00e3o fazem parte do cotidiano e as pessoas acabam desconhecendo. Como esclarece R\u00e9gis Teixeira, mestrando do programa, membro da comiss\u00e3o organizadora do evento:<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border: currentColor\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border: currentColor\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>&#8211; As demandas populares seriam as necessidades, situa\u00e7\u00f5es e quest\u00f5es sociais que n\u00f3s debatemos no mestrado e que est\u00e3o presentes no cotidiano de todo brasileiro. Como \u00e9 o caso dos ind\u00edgenas, favelados, quilombolas e do grupo social MST.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border: currentColor\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>\ufeff\ufeff<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border: currentColor\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>O semin\u00e1rio \u00e9 uma atividade acoplada \u00e0 grade do programa, proposto em 2009 pela primeira turma de mestrandos. Por\u00e9m, nesta terceira edi\u00e7\u00e3o, houve uma proposta inovadora por parte dos organizadores, com o intuito de inovar e se diferenciar das edi\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores. Como, por exemplo, no terceiro dia em que foi debatida a quest\u00e3o da educa\u00e7\u00e3o socioambiental, com uma vis\u00e3o cr\u00edtica e ampla sobre o tema. Ana Maria Dantas, vice-reitora de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, que direcionou o tema para a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de profissionais que capazes de conduzir a educa\u00e7\u00e3o socioambiental de maneira interessante em sala de aula. Al\u00e9m de participar da mesa, a vice-reitora colaborou com a log\u00edstica, que foi muito prejudicada, devido a imprevistos como a greve.
