O evento&nbsp;acontecer\u00e1 no dia 26 de novembro, quarta-feira, no Sal\u00e3o Verde (IE), \u00e0s 17 horas. O tema ser\u00e1 <em>A atualidade do pensamento de Hannah<\/em> <em>Arendt<\/em>, com participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos professores Eduardo Jardim e Ilda Lopes, ambos da PUC-Rio.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Hannah Arendt (1906-1975), alem\u00e3 de fam\u00edlia hebraica, procurou entender o destino do povo judeu perseguido por Hitler. Entre outras caracter\u00edsticas, era defensora dos direitos individuais e da fam\u00edlia. Publicou importantes obras como <em>Origens do totalitarismo<\/em> (1951) e <em>Eichmann em Jeru<\/em>s<em>al\u00e9m<\/em> (1963).<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>A obra de Hannah Arendt representa uma das grandes contribui\u00e7\u00f5es ao pensamento contempor\u00e2neo. Primeiramente, pelo apurado conhecimento da Filosofia Cl\u00e1ssica. E, ainda, pela originalidade da interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o da Filosofia Moderna, aliada a um inquestion\u00e1vel (e profundo) conhecimento da experi\u00eancia do homem no mundo em que vive.
