A solenidade da aula inaugural foi conduzida pelo reitor Ricardo Miranda. Na mesa de boas-vindas aos alunos do per\u00edodo 2012.1 estavam tamb\u00e9m a pr\u00f3-reitora de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o N\u00eddia Majerowicz, o pr\u00f3-reitor de Assuntos Estudantis Carlos Massard, os alunos representantes do DCE, Fernando Czar (Geologia) e Pollyana Lopes (Jornalismo), e o ilustre convidado Jos\u00e9 Geraldo de Souza Junior, reitor da Universidade de Bras\u00edlia (UnB).<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">\u2013 Quem passa pela Rural leva o DNA da Universidade consigo. O ambiente social e acad\u00eamico \u00e9 comum a todos, formando profissionais exemplares, que ocupam vagas no mercado de forma cada vez mais crescente \u2013 afirmou o reitor em seu discurso inicial.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Na cerim\u00f4nia estavam presentes os coordenadores da maioria dos cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o do campus Serop\u00e9dica, entre eles, as professoras Simone Orlando, respons\u00e1vel pela dire\u00e7\u00e3o do curso de Jornalismo, e Rejane Moreira, vice-coordenadora. <\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8211; A cada semestre e a cada ano ficamos muito alegres por termos mais pessoas se incorporando a nossa na\u00e7\u00e3o da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o apenas alunos como professores novos. Na ocasi\u00e3o, que tamb\u00e9m contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos alunos do terceiro e quinto per\u00edodos, os dois rec\u00e9m contratados professores do curso se incorporaram aos demais docentes e debateram o papel das m\u00eddias na imprensa. O curso de Jornalismo est\u00e1 sendo repensado nesse momento. No r\u00e1dio, \u00e9 preciso trabalhar a imagina\u00e7\u00e3o o tempo todo, o que torna esse ve\u00edculo t\u00e3o fascinante. Nossa fun\u00e7\u00e3o social, seja na televis\u00e3o, no r\u00e1dio ou no impresso, requer uma responsabilidade maior, de representa\u00e7\u00e3o da sociedade &#8211; afirmou Malerba.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"border: currentColor\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Ele tamb\u00e9m destacou a empolga\u00e7\u00e3o dos alunos de Jornalismo da Rural&nbsp;e a import\u00e2ncia do entrosamento entre todos os participantes do curso para a condu\u00e7\u00e3o das disciplinas pr\u00e1ticas.
