Tamb\u00e9m estiveram presentes diretores de institutos, coordenadores de curso, professores e alunos da Rural.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span>Com o tema &#8220;Universidade, Conhecimento e Sociedade&#8221;, o evento foi tamb\u00e9m uma recep\u00e7\u00e3o aos calouros dos cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, para apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de alguns servi\u00e7os do campus e orienta\u00e7\u00f5es relativas \u00e0 semana da integra\u00e7\u00e3o. O Vice-reitor, Eduardo Mendes Callado, aproveitou para comentar o desempenho positivo da UFRRJ no estudo da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o inglesa Quacquarelli Symonds (QS): a Universidade ficou na 116\u00ba posi\u00e7\u00e3o entre as 300 institui\u00e7\u00f5es avaliadas em toda a Am\u00e9rica Latina.&nbsp; Al\u00e9m disso, ele destacou o programa de assist\u00eancia estudantil, considerado o melhor do pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">A Pr\u00f3-reitora de Extens\u00e3o, Katherina Coumendouros,&nbsp;exp\u00f4s&nbsp;alguns grupos e movimentos sociais da Rural e convidou os alunos a participarem de todas as oportunidades oferecidas pela extens\u00e3o, principalmente as abertas \u00e0 comunidade local. Segundo ela, a integra\u00e7\u00e3o em diferentes campos do conhecimento \u00e9 fundamental para a forma\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 escolar, mas cidad\u00e3.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<table responsabilidade de conhecer este munic\u00edpio e seus problemas, cada um dos cursos aqui tem a possibilidade de atuar de alguma forma para melhoria deste local. <\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span>Ela comentou as dificuldades do espa\u00e7o acad\u00eamico e reafirmou o papel da academia na transforma\u00e7\u00e3o social e pol\u00edtica do
