Cerca de 25 alunos do ICHS participam do Levante Popular da Juventude<\/i>. O Levante <\/i>\u00e9 um movimento que surgiu a partir da indigna\u00e7\u00e3o de jovens das periferias do Rio Grande do Sul, em 2006. Em 2012, aconteceu o Primeiro Acampamento Nacional. Mais de 1200 jovens de 17 estados brasileiros compareceram. Hoje, o<\/span> Levante \u00e9 uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da juventude militante voltada para a luta de massas em busca da transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da sociedade.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n

Para transformar, o Projeto Popular entra em cena. Seu foco: a aboli\u00e7\u00e3o de um sistema opressor que divide a sociedade em classes;  o fim do sistema que oprime e explora as mulheres, assassina a juventude negra e perif\u00e9rica, silencia gays e l\u00e9sbicas e tolhe, cotidianamente, todos os sonhos. <\/span><\/div>\n

Alguns estudantes do ICHS que participam desse movimento deixaram seus depoimentos. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
– Aqui na Rural, nossa bandeira de lutas se torna ainda maior, quando percebemos o hist\u00f3rico da Universidade com a aristocracia latifundi\u00e1ria, o machismo e a homofobia, por exemplo. Lutamos pela dignidade da juventude e do nosso povo – defendeu Luiz Paulo, do 4\u00ba per\u00edodo de Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Internacionais.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
J\u00e1 Thiago Wendel, aluno do curso de Ci\u00eancias Sociais, trancou sua matr\u00edcula na Universidade para assumir uma coordenadoria na UNE (Uni\u00e3o Nacional de Estudantes), em S\u00e3o Paulo, representando o Levante. Para ele, os jovens sofrem forte influ\u00eancia de v\u00edcios do per\u00edodo atual, como o individualismo e o consumismo. E isso deve ser mudado.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

– O Levante se prop\u00f5e a construir uma nova sociedade, baseada na soberania, na solidariedade e na a\u00e7\u00e3o coletiva.  Assim, torna-se uma escola de vida, de solidariedade. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

O movimento na UFRRJ participou da ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o do antigo Hotel Universit\u00e1rio (atual F6 – Alojamento Feminino 6); construiu o Ato contra a viol\u00eancia no campus.<\/i> Tamb\u00e9m foi respons\u00e1vel, nesse \u00faltimo m\u00eas, pelos Pr\u00e9-Grito: Democratiza\u00e7\u00e3o da M\u00eddia<\/i> (evento articulado com o CACO);  Exterm\u00ednio LGBTT e Viol\u00eancia Contra a Mulher (organizado com o Grupo Pontes<\/i> e o Coletivo de Mulheres <\/i>da UFRRJ); e Exterm\u00ednio da Juventude Negra e Redu\u00e7\u00e3o da Maioridade Penal <\/i>(articulado com o NUN-Rural). <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
