O evento teve in\u00edcio \u00e0s 13h30, e reuniu alunos n\u00e3o s\u00f3 do curso de Economia, mas tamb\u00e9m de diferentes cursos da UFRRJ no audit\u00f3rio Paulo Freire do ICHS. Dessa vez, a discuss\u00e3o teve como base o filme \u201cFreakonomics \u2013 O lado oculto da Economia\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"pt\">Inspirado no livro do economista Steven Levitt em parceria com o jornalista Stephen J. Dubner, o document\u00e1rio, com cerca de 86 minutos, prop\u00f5e a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o da teoria econ\u00f4mica para explicar a causalidade de uma s\u00e9rie de problemas sociais, como o crime, o aborto, a corrup\u00e7\u00e3o e a segrega\u00e7\u00e3o cultural. Guilherme considerou a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o de temas controversos em correla\u00e7\u00f5es, e ressaltou o emprego da ci\u00eancia econ\u00f4mica, enquanto campo social, em casos espec\u00edficos.
