Na ocasi\u00e3o, foi homenageada a professora doutora Caetana Damasceno que, ap\u00f3s anos de contribui\u00e7\u00e3o ao ICHS, est\u00e1 se aposentando nesse m\u00eas. A partir das 17h, alunos e colegas de trabalho se reuniram no Audit\u00f3rio Paulo Freire para demonstrar carinho e apoio \u00e0 Caetana.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">A homenagem foi conduzida pelo diretor do ICHS Ricardo de Oliveira, em conjunto com a pr\u00f3-reitora de assuntos financeiros Nidia Majerowicz, a professora do departamento de Ci\u00eancias Sociais Patr\u00edcia Reinheimer, a professora doutora e ex-diretora do campus de Tr\u00eas Rios Luciana Amorim N\u00f3brega e a doutoranda em Antropologia Social Tatiane Duarte. Os convidados falaram sobre suas experi\u00eancias ao lado de Caetana, ressaltando seu papel de grande import\u00e2ncia na forma\u00e7\u00e3o dos cursos de ci\u00eancias humanas em uma \u00e9poca dif\u00edcil e conservadora. Al\u00e9m do lado profissional de Caetana, enquanto historiadora e antrop\u00f3loga, os colegas tamb\u00e9m fizeram quest\u00e3o de relatar momentos que v\u00e3o al\u00e9m das rela\u00e7\u00f5es de departamento. Luciana se emocionou ao descrever lembran\u00e7as com a amiga:&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">&#8211; Caetana aprendeu a amarrar turbante africano comigo quando tive c\u00e2ncer e precisei raspar a cabe\u00e7a. Vivemos tudo o que pod\u00edamos viver como amigas. \u00c9 uma companheira de vida, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 outras palavras para isso.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">Ex-aluna de Caetana e hoje doutoranda em Antropologia Social, Tatiane preparou um texto em sua homenagem. Ela, que cursava Economia Dom\u00e9stica no in\u00edcio da gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, contou que, com a professora, descobriu que gostaria de seguir a Antropologia.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">&#8211; Quando consegui a transfer\u00eancia de curso, me chamavam de &#8220;caetanete&#8221;. Para discutir o assunto, a mesa contou com a presen\u00e7a dos professores Caetana Damasceno &nbsp;(DCS\/ICHS\/PPGHIS), Jos\u00e9 Sergio Leite Lopes (PPGAS\/Museu Nacional\/ UFRJ), \u00c1lvaro Pereira Nascimento (DHE\/IM\/PPGHIS), V\u00e2nia Losada (DHRI\/ICHS\/PPGHIS). Respons\u00e1vel por conduzir o debate estava o professor do Departamento de Hist\u00f3ria Lu\u00eds Edmundo Moraes.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">Para abordar o tema, Jos\u00e9 Sergio escolheu apresentar o pref\u00e1cio do livro &#8220;Segredos da Boa Apar\u00eancia&#8221;, obra de Caetana, de quem foi orientador de mestrado. Segundo ele, esse trabalho torna f\u00e1cil o aprofundamento cr\u00edtico sobre rela\u00e7\u00f5es de g\u00eanero e ra\u00e7a na forma\u00e7\u00e3o social brasileira do mercado de trabalho. Sob essa mesma perspectiva racial, \u00c1lvaro discursou sobre a realidade p\u00f3s-escravista da Marinha, formada por maioria negra e desprovida de direitos igualit\u00e1rios.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif\">Tendo tamb\u00e9m como base a obra de Caetana, V\u00e2nia destacou conceitos desenvolvidos pela autora, como a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o e resist\u00eancia do racismo seja qual for o tempo em quest\u00e3o.
